Prof. A. Panjali, DDS, MS, DICOI
Prof. Panjali graduated from New York University College of Dentistry and received postgraduate training in dental implants in Germany in 1992. In 2004, he continued training in Implant Dentistry at NYU and received a master's in Oral Implantology from Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany. He is a clinical professor (external faculty) at Coorg Institute of Dental Sciences, a top-15 dental college in India. In 2008, Prof. Panjali founded the New York Implant Institute to provide his peers with unbiased, high-quality dental implant continuing education.
Prof. Panjali is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry and a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He has published several articles on immediate placement and grafting procedures. Prof. Panjali is an active member of several dental organizations and has lectured on dental implants nationally and internationally since 1996.
As a pioneer in the art and science of implantology, Prof. Panjali created a “no drill osteotomy” technique for surgical implant placement. He has evaluated several leading implant systems and is dedicated to using innovative, noninvasive surgical techniques to restore smiles. Prof. Panjali also assisted in developing surgical instruments that make implant procedures easier for dentists and assistants and implemented strategies that make immediate placement more predictable. He successfully completed clinical trials of immediate placement in infected sockets, which led to the development of a predictable protocol to achieve excellent results.
Advancing the Art and Science of Dental Implants Through Education
Prof. Panjali founded the New York Implant Institute in 2008 to provide unbiased and unsponsored continuing education on implant dentistry to dentists and implant specialists. To ensure clinical success, all the courses feature a simplified format, eliminate confusing terminology, and incorporate hands-on exercises and live patient surgeries. From our basic implant education to the most advanced curriculum, each course is designed to ensure mastery in implant placement, bone grafting, and full arch rehabilitation.
